This weekend, I participated in my first Triathlon, along with 1,000 other people. It was in my little hometown of 2,000 people in Minnesota. We swam in the lake I grew up in. I swam 1/4 mile, biked 10 miles and ran a wretched 2.5 miles. I so dislike running. The entire time I run I think of all the things I would rather be doing. I actually like the other events, and the running got easier with training. It didn't get any more enjoyable. Oh well.
